Aripeka is a roughly 400-acre gated community on the south side of Viera, Florida — not to be confused with the Gulf Coast town of Aripeka, FL. Built on former hunting land, its roughly 250 Aripeka homes and homesites follow the natural terrain around mature oaks, palms, and pines, giving it a wooded, old-Florida feel unlike Viera’s more manicured subdivisions.
Aripeka is a custom-build community with four builders: CDS Builders, Joyal Homes, LifeStyle Homes, and Stanley Homes. Floor plans run from roughly 2,400 to over 5,000 square feet, and vacant homesites come up for sale as well. Residents share nature trails, pocket parks, lakes and ponds, and a private, family-focused central park whose clubhouse has a catering kitchen and large indoor and outdoor gathering spaces; homes use city water and sewer, and the builders emphasize energy-efficient design. Viera released Aripeka’s Phase 5 homesites in April 2026. Homes are zoned for Viera Elementary, Viera Middle, and Viera High School, with Viera Charter School (K–8) nearby, and HOA fees run about $1,500 per year.
